Dave and Annie's Wedding Registry!

For those who are kind and able, we are registered online in several places. We really don't "need" anything--she was set before I moved in, as was I, and together we have the best of two lives' worth of kitchen gadgets, sheets, etc. But...there are a few personal things, and a few "couples" things, we came up with for our registry. It's really hard to think of things we need, as we have little space to store things and live comfortably already. Hence, these lists are full of "wants" rather than "needs." All we really need is your love and support...and land in New Hampshire...

Amazon.com

For those who are not familiar with Amazon.com, they sell just about everything from groceries to fine china, tires to music. They sell the same things as Macy's, Sears, etc, and usually for far less money. Plus, when you buy online, you don't (generally) pay sales tax, so a Tamron lens won't cost an extra $35 for the gov'na.

Macy's.com

This is what became of Famous-Barr a few years ago, and remains every new couple's first stop for starting out. Double check with Amazon for anything we have listed here--there's a $30 or so price difference on the same Wusthof knife set between the two (favoring Amazon), for example...

TopGlock.com

As a competitive shooter, and a guy who's really trying to find something for a wedding registry (we don't need dishes or washing machines, so...what's that leave?), here's some stuff on a reputable firearm accessory website that would help me realize my final dream for my G35. Sadly, Amazon doesn't carry pistol parts...

Dream

The DREAM organization was started by Dartmouth students, and continues today in its role of providing a safe, inspirational summer camp to kids who need such an environment to get past whatever troubles them elsewhere. Annie volunteered with the program and truly believes in their ability to help. Thus, we came up with the "virtual registry" idea, where they have a "registry" page set up that cleverly solicits donations in realistic sums. So instead of buying us a gadget, "buy" DREAM a gadget, and the "cost" of it goes to help them with operational expenses. It's a clever way to help kids who need role models more than we need soup ladles.

Echo

The Einstein Community Health Organization is an organization of medical students here at Annie's med school. They provide primary care for folks who can't afford to pay, and thus serve an important and admirable role in community health here in the Bronx. Every charity needs money; this one is close to our hearts. So, save us from another set of napkin holders, and donate to them...

Cute Bunnies

Both of us love cute bunnies. We don't have time/room/conducive-lifestyles for pets, but thought that you'd enjoy some cute bunnies...
